Underarm Sweating

Botox and the other wrinkle reducing products have another remarkable use.

Because they interfere with the nerve impulses they can dramatically reduce the amount of sweat produced in the armpit area.

There is a condition called Axillary Hyperhidrosis (basically excessive sweating from the armpit) which can cause sufferers much distress and can be an embarrassing problem.

Sprays and creams and other medications seem to be ineffective for this problem.

Treatment

We ask that you do not use any deodorant or antiperspirant for twenty four hours before your treatment session you can use soap and water. Please wear a vest or a loose fitting T-shirt.

We use a series of small injections just under the skin ( typically between 10 and 20) in the areas most affected. Our clients tell us these are almost painless.

Results

It usually takes up to a week for maximum effect with around 95% reduction in sweating in that region, it tends to last up to nine months. All our treatments are performed by a dental surgeon.

Costs

We charge £250 for a single armpit or £400 for both arms.
